The VegTrug Classic 1.8m medium is an attractive planter made from 100% FSC certified cedar wood. Perfect for growing salads and vegetables in smaller spaces.
Easy to assemble from flat pack and a great solution to growing your own in a limited space. Standing at 80cm, it is the ideal working height for gardening without bending and compromising posture. Also assists in keeping slugs and pests at a minimum too.
The VegTrug Classic medium 1.8m has enough room to grow a multitude of mixed salads and vegetables at any one time on the patio, or in the garden with this great space-saving growing solution. The unique ‘V’ shape means that you are still able to plant a variation of crops; you can grow deep rooted produce in the middle, along with shallow rooted produce towards the front and back.

The VegTrug, made from sustainable sources, comes with a purpose built, replaceable fitted membrane liner, which features perforations to allow drainage and aeration.
The Medium 1.8m VegTrug will hold 420L of compost or topsoil.

You can select a delivery date that suits you on the checkout page of our website. Economy delivery is within 2-3 working days. We offer a Next Day service (£15) if your order is placed before 12pm. Natural Grower products will be dispatched Next Day if ordered before 12pm. Please note that VegTrug and Shire products have different lead times – you will be contacted directly by the supplier to book your delivery date.
Most of the delivery charge is included in the price. If there is a delivery surcharge to your address, it will be shown at check out. The charge is per bulk bag or pallet of small bags and is based on your postcode. We also provide alternative delivery options for some products. You will be notified at checkout where applicable.
No unless you request it. Generally, we find that sterilisation kills off beneficial microorganism essential for soil health. If you do require sterilised soil, please see this product here.
Yes, but only small ones as all the larger stones are removed. Some stones in the soil are important for good drainage, soil aeration and prevention of topsoil compaction.
